A little girl from the migrant school said: "My name is Liu Weiqi. I’m very happy. Everyone welcomed us here and we had great fun. I want to study ballet in the future. I’m eight years old."
As well as being great fun for the kids, the workshop was designed to enrich the skills and knowledge of teachers and artists working with communities around China. The five-day activity focused on participation and collaboration in creative dance and drama, and its end result was an original dance and theater piece.
