Day 2: Nanshan Temple 南山寺

Nanshan Temple is located in Sanya Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Tourism Zone. The most famous feature of the Nanshan Temple is the three sided Kwan-yin Statue, which is larger than the Statue of Liberty at 108 meters tall.

Transport: Take a mini bus from the West Bus Station or No.2 Jiefang Road in Sanya to Nanshan, or take a taxi from Sanya ($50 - 100). Free hotel shuttles for visitors who have reserved rooms at Nanshan Hotel also travel between Sanya and Nanshan.
