Wearing the No. 6 jersey, 19-year-old Yang Shuyu and her teammates Wang Lili, Zhang Zhiting and Wan Jiyuan overcame France to claim the bronze medal for China in the women's 3x3 basketball at the Tokyo Games.
China has been waiting 29 years to win a basketball medal at the Olympics since legendary center Zheng Haixia led the women's national team to silver at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
