# Sun Yingsha

Born in 2000, Sun Yingsha is the No. 2 Chinese women's table tennis player. On July 29, Sun swept Japan's Mima Ito and secured a one-two finish for Team China in the women's singles table tennis. Although she was defeated by her compatriot Chen Meng in the final, Sun still received high praise on social media for her passion. 

A week later on Aug. 5, Sun and her teammates overcame hosts Japan in straight matches to claim China's fourth consecutive title in the women's table tennis team competition at the Tokyo Olympics.
