Xiong County, Hebei Province  河北雄縣

Located in the middle of Hebei Province, Xiong County is acclaimed as "The Kingdom of Geothermal Resources in North China". The county has more than 300 square kilometers of geothermal fields, accounting for 60 percent of its total land area. The high quality spring water, with a temperature ranging between 55℃ and 86℃, is rich in various minerals, all of which are beneficial for health and rejuvenation.

The Baiyangdian Spa City, which lies in the southwest of the county, is adjacent to the sparkling Baiyangdian Lake, the largest freshwater Lake on the North China Plain.
