Given the crucial role of the digital economy and smart technologies since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, EY anticipates that, in 2022, China will work to upgrade its digital infrastructure facilities, create city-level digital platforms and promote the digital transformation of the national economy, people's lives and governance capacity.
