Head-of-state diplomacy represents the highest form of Chinese diplomacy and plays a decisive role in major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, President Xi Jinping has personally planned, led and conducted head-of-state diplomacy. This diplomacy has featured numerous highlights and successive breakthroughs. He has made 55 overseas visits to 72 countries across five continents and has hosted over 230 foreign heads of state on official visits to China.

President Xi Jinping has engaged in in-depth strategic communication with leaders of various countries, conducted friendly exchanges with citizens of nations worldwide, and thoroughly articulated the principles of peaceful development, the path of win-win cooperation, and the strategy of "working together for a shared future." This has injected peace, stability and progress into a world intertwined with changes and turmoil.

President Xi Jinping took a high-speed train and watched a football match with Russian President Vladimir Putin, celebrated the birthday of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and signed a copy of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" brought by Chilean President Gabriel Boric.
