He Yiting, executive vice president of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, said the CPC's governance in contemporary China was not only benefitting 1.3 billion Chinese people, but also the people of the world by contributing China's wisdom and solutions to human issues and world problems.

He said that, since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Party had undertaken a strategic deployment in deepening all-round reform and remained committed to promoting the modernization of the national governance system and capacity.

It had achieved a series of major breakthroughs in the theory, policy and practice of state governance, solved many difficulties remaining unresolved for a long time and handled many important tasks not completed in the past.

The CPC had not only made remarkable achievements in Party, state and army governance, but also significant contributions to global governance that had, in turn, enriched and developed the way of governance in contemporary China.

He said the CPC was a party good at learning from history as well as practice, and one that thought highly of learning and drawing on all the achievements of human civilization. China's great achievements in reform and opening up had been certainly benefited from its learning of the advanced technology and management experience in the world.

He said that, only by emulating those better than ourselves, and learning from each other, could constant improvements be achieved in governance methods. By putting forward the "Belt and Road Initiative" and the concept of "a community of a shared future for humankind," contemporary Chinese Communists would undoubtedly become practitioners, facilitators and demonstrators of exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations.
