Ballots counting results at polling stations outside Sudan have shown that the incumbent Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has achieved a sweeping advancement ahead of his rivals in the country's presidential race, reported official SUNA news agency.

Al-Bashir, who is candidate of the ruling National Congress Party (NCP), obtaining 4,826 votes against 574 votes for the rest of the candidates, according to the report in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In Egypt, al-Bashir obtained 2,616 votes out of the total 2,955 votes, while in Kuwait he obtained 484 votes against 55 for the rest of the candidates, and in Qatar around 90 percent of the voters voted for al-Bashir.

In the United States of America, al-Bashir obtained 117 votes out of 170, in Canada 19 votes out of 38, and in Britain 360 out of 464 votes, said the report.

In Malaysia, al-Bashir achieved 299 vote against 48 for the rest of the candidates, while in Germany obtained 73 votes out of 84 and Brussels 117 out of 144.

Ballot counting continued in the Sudanese capital Khartoum in the first multi-party elections in Sudan in 24 years.
