Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Tuesday and Wednesday met with his counterparts of Mexico, Kazakhstan and Belgium in New York and discussed issues of common concern.

On the sidelines of a series of UN meetings, the foreign ministers from the four countries exchanged opinions on bilateral ties and vowed to further develop their relations.

Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived?in New York?on Monday for the UN meetings. He is also scheduled to attend a financial summit of the Group of 20 in Pittsburgh on Thursday and Friday.
