US President Donald Trump has made no secret of his disdain for the United Nations. He has drafted an order to slash funding to the UN, which is now under review by the US government. That single move by the UN’s largest funder could cripple the organization, as well as its agencies, including UNICEF, the World Food Program and the World Health Organization.
