The ongoing China International Fashion Week in Beijing continues to send out awe-inspiring shows.

 

On Wednesday. Designer Liu Xing put her models in dresses inspired by the Spanish painter Joan Miro.

The show conjures up a painting contest where both children and grown-ups are taking part.

And all have been "painting" to pay tribute to the Spanish painter Joan Miro, as his signature strokes have found their way onto all the linen-made dresses.

The bright palette and peppy music contributed to a show brimming with fun.

Liu Xing, fashion designer, said, "As a designer, my ultimate goal is to make people happy when wearing my clothes. So I integrate elements that would make me relax and smile. "

In another show, designer Zhao Huizhou unveils her latest creations accenting oriental femininity.

The clean-lined ready-to-wear collection delivered the kind of workaday staples that professional women crave.

Bright-colored and floral-themed dresses with asymmetrical hemlines added a touch of drama to the otherwise serene collection.

Zhao Huizhou, fashion designer, said, "I was trying to recapture the spirit of oriental women. They are known for their unsophisticated temperament and deliberate avoidance of luxury."

The eight-day China International Fashion Week runs till next Monday.
