The second day saw two shows staged in Beijing's 798 Art Zone. At the "Eonfashion" Styling Contest, the emphasis was on make-up and accessories, rather than clothes.

Low-carbon lifestyles, pollution, and women's independence were some of the themes that were paraded on the catwalk. Over 30 designers and 50 fashion brands will take part in China Fashion week, which is now in its 13th year. The event ends on November 1.
