U.S. automaker General Motors has finalized its 5 billion U.S. dollar facility and plans to file for its initial public offering on Friday.

Major U.S. banks including Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have committed to the credit facility at the 500 million U.S. dollars. The total IPO will represent at least one quarter of the company.
