A head-on collision between a truck and a bus has killed 32 people in Northeast China's Liaoning province. 24 others have been injured.

The accident happened early Sunday morning on a section of highway undergoing construction in Fuxin City. The truck was on the wrong side of the road when it slammed into the bus, then bursting into flames. All 3 people in the truck and 29 bus passengers were killed. The injured passengers are in hospital, 3 of which are in critical condition. The bus was travelling from Tianjin to Harbin.
