A group of mainland tourists were injured in a crane crash accident in Taipei on Friday.
Two people were killed and three others were injured. Local police are now investigating the accident.
Fifteen tourists of the 25-person group have returned home to the mainland. About a dozen family members of the victims are scheduled to arrive in Taipei to deal with the aftermath of the accident.
One of the three injured is in critical condition. The tourists from the mainland were injured when a falling crane from a high-rise building under construction crashed onto their bus.
A preliminary investigation indicates the crane toppled over due to too much weight and strong winds.
Taiwan tourism organizations say compensation for those killed, who were covered by insurance could reach a maximum of sixty thousand US dollars, per person.
