The newly-organized Chinese women's volleyball team is hard at work at its new training camp. The players are attracting a lot of media attention, and not just for their volleyball skills.
The new Chinese Women Volleyball Team were welcomed with Drum shows to the Chenzhou Training Camp, Hunan Province.
Fans and journalists crowded into the arena to catch a glimpse of what's being called the "most beautiful and tallest" volleyball team yet.
Cai Bin, Head Coach, said, "The team feel very honored to have gained much attention from the media. I wish to express our thanks to all the media friends. I hope the girls will grow up quickly under the care of the public and media."
When the girls stepped out of their bus, spectators and fans joked that a group of models had arrived.
The reason? Eleven of them are at least 1.9 meters in height.
They may be like models in terms of looks, but are they real models in the sport of volleyball?
