Beijing has experienced a chilly start to spring this year. But inside, the stage of the "Carbeen" fashion collection was lush and green. Designer Yang Ziming released his 2009/10 autumn and winter collection on Saturday night in Beijing.
Yang Ziming, better known as "Mr. Carbeen" used the collection to echo the idea LOHAS, or Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability. The stage was set as a park. Models dressed in causal style, some with cameras in their hands while some rode bikes to pass on the message of environmental protection.
Carbeen has been divided into three parts since last autumn: the casual, the urban and the fashionable. The change aims to cover a wider ranger of customers, aged 18 to 40.
The main hue is grey, white and black. But the cool tones were sprinkled with details in bright rosy red, emerald and the green of fresh fruits.
