The Beijing Olympic Games has wrapped up and the Chinese capital is ready for its next challenge - the Beijing Paralympics. BOCOG officials say all preparations, including those for the venues, barrier-free facilities, the torch relay and the opening ceremony, are complete. More than 4,200 athletes from 148 countries and regions will take part in the games.
