The 2017 World Internet and Industry Conference was held in Qingdao, Shandong on Nov. 7 and 8, with a theme of "New Momentum, New Manufacture, New Economy". Experts from more than 10 countries including China, the US, Germany and Japan gathered at the two-day event that aimed to share the rich achievements in integrated development of internet and advanced manufacturing worldwide and to promote exchange in technology and innovation. The event contained thematic speeches, parallel forums and signing of agreements. Deputy mayor of Qingdao, Yan Xijun addressed the opening ceremony. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shandong Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and Qingdao government signed a memorandum for cooperation in creating a software city. The government of Xianyang in Shaanxi province, Beijing Institute of Big Data Research, and KuteSmart Co signed an agreement for strategic cooperation in industrial upgrading, industrial big data research and transfer of technological findings. |
