A new research center was recently built trough the coordinated efforts of the Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO).
The new center focused on the role of the Southern Hemisphere oceans in the global climate has been launched in Hobart, Australia.
The Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology will set up more centers in cooperation with research institutes of the United States, Germany, Russia and countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road to accelerate the development of environmental science and technology.
