In & Out 一坐一忘

As so often with Chinese businesses there's a strange English name that almost seems designed to keep clients away. In this case I'm told the Chinese name doesn't make much sense either. In and Out aims to reproduce the atmosphere of China's most colorful and varied province by decking out its waiting staff in traditional costumes. Lijiang, home to the Naxi people, seems to be the main focus, but the menu includes specialties of other national minorities including the Bai, Dai and Wa. Some think the restaurant has more style than substance, but it's a pleasant enough dining experience and in a convenient location above the Sanlitun branch of the Jenny Lou supermarket.
