Construction for the Ningxia Geological Museum, which started in March 2010, completely recently, and the museum is ready to greet the public.
The museum uses models, photos, display panels, feature films, videos demonstrations, and mineral samples in its display halls and cinema to showcase the region's geological work and findings. The museum also includes a children's playground.
Located in Jinfeng District of Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the geological museum covers 12,000 square meters, with 2,251 square meters of exhibition floor space.
