The logistics sector of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region handled 255.7 billion yuan (38.7 billion U.S. dollars) of cargo in 2010, a 35.2-percent year-on-year rise, the regional commission of economy and information technology said Friday.
Of the total, industrial cargo accounted for 186 billion yuan, or 72.8 percent, and cargo for the wholesale sector made up for 60 billion yuan, or 23.5 percent.
Last year, the logistics sector invested 11.4 billion yuan in fixed assets, up 34.1 percent year on year.
