Day 3: Mount Putuo 普陀山 

Mount Putuo, located in the East China Sea, is a testament to the timeless beauty of mountains and oceans. Along with Mount Emei in Sichuan, Mount Wutai in Shanxi and Mount Jiuhua in Anhui, it is one of the four sacred mountains in Chinese Buddhism.

Transport: Putuo Island can be reached by boat from Shanghai or Ningbo.
