Day2: Heilongjiang Tour Route: Sun Island（太陽島）

Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, Sun Island Scenic Area is famous for its blue water, crystalline lakes, wooded rockeries and exotic buildings. In summer, the area's comfortable weather makes it the top destination for many travelers hoping to escape the heat. In winter, the spot is a paradise of ice and snow.

Transport: Take Bus 29, 80, 85 or 88 to Sun Island Stop. There is also a cable car at Tongjiang Street which can take you to Sun Island.

Ticket prices: 30 yuan, but admission is 240 yuan during the Harbin International Snow Sculpture Expo.

Hours of operation: 08:00-17:00, or 08:30-19:00 during the snow sculpture expo
