Southwest China's city of Chengdu has begun offering helicopter flights to Mount Emeishan.

The new service allows travelers to reach Emeishan, a popular tourist attraction, from Chengdu within half an hour.

A one-way trip will cost between 2,000 and 3,000 yuan per person.

The service is the first low-altitude flight route opened in Sichuan province.
