The restoration project of Song ancient city wall of Shouxian county in Anhui Province has entered the online bidding period. The total investment will be about 4.9 million yuan ($ 0.74 million).

Stone walls above the building’s waist from the north gate to the southwest corner of the former city wall compound will be removed; battlements on the city wall will be rebuilt.

Up to now, there are more than 160 historic sites in Shouxian: 10 more ancient buildings from Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, about 80 ancient tombs, 29 archaeological sites, among others.
