Zhenyuan Ancient Town 鎮(zhèn)遠(yuǎn)古城

Located between the mountains of the eastern part of Guizhou Province, Zhenyuan Ancient Town is one of the top ten tourist towns in China. It is famous for its long history and rich culture.

Covering an area of 3.1 square kilometers, it consists of more than 160 scenic spots. Visitors can find villages, palaces, temples, caves and rivers in the town. The marvelous natural landscape is combined with generous folk culture. The grandest celebration in the town is the Dragon Boat Festival which is held on May 25th of every year.
