HNA Tourism has set up Shanghai Deer Jet Company to expand the market for its business jets.

Shanghai Deer Jet is the first business jet company based in Shanghai, and is also the only one in eastern China. It will offer guaranteed air transport services for the 2010 World Expo.

The business scope of the new company includes onshore and offshore oil services, helicopter external load flights, artificial precipitation, medical emergencies, aerial prospecting, air journeys, business flights, and other related business.

Initially the company will operate two Hawker 800 business jets and according to Zhang Kui, the board chairman and general manager of Shanghai Deer Jet, more will be introduced based on market demand. The company will develop more products such as wedding charters to bring efficient and exclusive business jet service to ordinary people.
