# Digital pickle

Many Chinese prefer a bit of pickle to spice up their dishes. Nowadays, some of the younger generation in China who eat alone cope with their lackluster dining experiences by indulging in "digital pickled vegetables," internet slang for short videos or TV shows that one can watch while having a meal.
