Jinhai Lake, also known as Jinhai Lake Scenic Area, is located in the east of Pinggu district, about 85 kilometers northeast of downtown Beijing. It includes Haizi Reservoir, which covers 6.6 square kilometers and is the third largest reservoir in Beijing.

Best time for sightseeing: October to mid-November
