# Former residence of Li Dazhao

Located on Beijing's Wenhua Hutong in Xicheng district, this old residence once housed Li Dazhao, a pioneer for the CPC, and his family for nearly four years from the start of spring 1920.

During his stay here, Li made a series of contributions to China's revolutionary course, including the teaching of Marxism, establishing a Communist Party group in Beijing, and facilitating the first united front between the CPC and the Kuomintang (KMT) party.
