Huaqing Hot Springs (Huaqing Palace) (華清池)

Located at the northern foot of Lishan Mountain, 30 kilometers from Xi'an, Huaqing Hot Spring is famous for its amazing spring scenery and the romantic love story of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762) of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and his favorite concubine, Yang Guifei. During his reign, the emperor spent a large part of his funds on the construction of a luxurious palace, reflecting the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Now, a lot of visitors take to hot springs located here every day.
