Preparations for the Europe's soccer championship was the main topic of the talks between Tusk and Tymoshenko during her one-day visit to Poland on Monday, according to Polish news agency PAP.
Addressing journalists at a joint news conference Tusk added that talks also focused on the organisation of Euro 2012 and the future agreement on local cross-border traffic.
"Most of the time we devoted to joint preparations for Euro 2012, " Tusk told a news conference after meeting the Ukrainian PM.
He added that after a narrow circle talk a meeting with the entire Ukrainian-Polish committee responsible for preparations for Euro 2012 took place.
Tymoshenko said that the two countries would try to be a single team and as such overcome all obstacles on the way to Euro 2012." We will meet this challenge," she declared.
Tymoshenko stressed that the talks "opened a close communication " on Euro 2012 between Poland and Ukraine.
She said that he and the Polish PM agreed that two basic stadiums, namely the Olympic one in Kiev and National in Warsaw would be ready on time.
