The mascot is a sika named "Lulu". As Changchun is home to sika,
a famous kind of deer in China, it is a remarkable reflection of
the unique regional culture and features. In the traditional
culture of China, the sika is a symbol of good luck and fortune,
featuring mild temper, elegant posture, agility in action, and
quick response, which exactly reflects the agility and excellent
skills of the winter sports athletes. We expect "Lulu" to be an
envoy of showing the strength and speed of sports and spreading
friendship and love, so as for the athletes and Asian people to
feel the favourable natural and humane environment in
Changchun.
