Honduran national soccer team received little welcome when they returned home after being eliminated from the World Cup in South Africa.

The squad arrived at the San Pedro Sula aiport in a charter flight together with some 450 Honduran soccer fans, but very few fans showed up to welcome them.

Honduras lost 1-0 to Chile, 2-0 to Spain, and drew 0-0 with Switzerland in this World Cup.

This was the second time that Honduran team competes in a World Cup, the first in Spain in 1982.
