Chinese shooter Yin Wen on Tuesday grabbed the gold medal of women's 50m three positions at the ISSF shooting World Cup in Munich, the second gold medal for the Chinese team at the Munich leg.

Yin Wen shot a total score of 687.5 points, edging host's two-time world champion Sonja Pfeilschifter to take the top title of the discipline.

Pfeilschifter, who had previously harvested a number of world cup golds, pocketed the silver with 685.7 points, while Indian shooter Tejaswini Sawant took home the bronze with 685.0 points.

This is Yin Wen's fourth World Cup victory in a row this season.

Last month, Yin Wen took two golds in the 10m air rifle and 50m rifle 3 positions at the ISSF opening World Cup leg in Changwon of South Korea, and later she snatched the gold of the women's 10m air rifle at the Beijing leg.

"I did not expect that I could get four golds," Yin said after the victory ceremony.

"I'm very lucky, maybe my good luck has started this year," she joked.

During the qualifying round, Yin shot her best score of 590 points to take the first place among the eight finalists.

During the final stage, however, Yin failed to stage a sparkling performance, fortunately she did not make errors and continuing her leading place.

"I felt good in the qualifying round, but I did not feel good in the final," she told Xinhua.

The 26-year-old scored 97.5 points in the final stage, far shy from her best performance of 103.1 points, while silver medalist Pfeilschifter scored 101.7 points on the day.

Yin was even on the verge of losing the gold to Sawant in the eighth shot of the final, when the latter shot an amazing 10.8 points, narrowing down the gap with the leader Yin to a breath-taking 0.6 point.

During the ninth shot, however, Sawant shot an incredible awkward score of 6.9 points, sending Yin to the safe shore although Yin merely shot a moderate 9.8 points.

"I was not confident, I was a little bit nervous, I wanted to shoot above 10, but I even shot blow 9.5," Yin said.

Wang Xiangyan, the second Chinese shooter in the final stage, scored 682.9 points to place the fifth.
