"Moslems in Xihaigu"records the natural and cultural ecology in Moslem settlements in the northern mountainous area of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Some years ago Wang began to use a sociological methodology to make his research more systematic. He has covered every facet of local Moslems' way of life and work and tried hard to decipher the inner logic among these documentary images.
