For Shanghai Resident:
(1) Permanent residence book and resident ID card;
(2) Certificate of marriage or testimonial of matrimonial relationship;
(3) Application for divorce and agreement of divorce.
For overseas Chinese and resident in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan:
(1) Passport, resident ID card and pass for transit from Hong Kong, Macao to the Chinese?mainland or seaman card or certificate of Taiwan compatriot;
(2) Certificate of marriage or testimonial of matrimonial relationship;
(3) Application for divorce and agreement of divorce.
Procedures:
Application with credentials and certificates in line with relevant requirements →fill out Divorce Registry Application, Agreement of Voluntary Divorce→verification and check by the authority →pick certificate issuance card →obtain the certificate of divorce

Charging basis: Notice on Items and Standards for Charging Administrative Items within the Civil Administrative System Jointly Issued by the National Price Bureau and the Ministry of Finance. (No. 249 by the National Price Bureau and the Ministry of Finance in 1992)
Charging standard: service charge for divorce registry between Shanghai resident and overseas Chinese and resident in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: RMB 40/case
