Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held a phone conversation
with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora on Thursday, exchanging
views on the situation at the border between Israel and
Palestine.
Li urged all parties concerned to keep restraint to avoid
further deterioration of the situation, expressing his close
attention to and deep concern over the situation.
Siniora asked Li to convey his greetings to Chinese Premier Wen
Jiabao. Li said he will and also expressed thanks to Siniora.
