A group of 85 military attaches, deputy military attaches and
their wives of 47 countries in China started on Monday their visit
to the country's northeast.
Invited by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense, the
military attaches will visit Shenyang and Dalian of Liaoning
Province and Changchun of Jilin Province for a better understanding
of China's economic and social conditions and military development
in the region.
They will listen to reports on the situations of the Shenyang
Military Area Command, inspect an infantry under the Command and
visit military academies as well as some industrial and
agricultural projects, the ministry said.
The ministry invites foreign military attaches to visit places
other than Beijing each year, aiming to increase their trust in
China's armed forces and promote friendship between foreign
military attaches and Chinese officers and soldiers.
