The following are the latest developments of A/H1N1 flu outbreaks worldwide on Saturday, according to the World Health Organization and government officials.
In a latest update, the World Health Organization (WHO) said the total number of lab confirmed human infections of A/H1N1 flu has reached 365 as of 19:00 GMT Friday.
The U.S. government has reported 141 laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death. Mexico has reported 156 confirmed human cases of infection, including nine deaths, said the UN agency.
In addition, 11 countries and regions have reported laboratory confirmed cases with no deaths, including Austria (1), Canada (34), Hong Kong, China (1), Denmark (1), Germany (3), Israel (2), Netherlands (1), New Zealand (3), Spain (13), Switzerland (1) and Britain (8).
The WHO said that the situation continued to evolve and it would renew its tally on regular basis.
Later, Canada confirmed 13 new cases of A/H1N1 flu infections, bringing the total number in the country to 47.
On Saturday morning South Korea reported its first confirmed case of influenza A/H1N1. A 51-year-old nun, who has been quarantined since Tuesday after returning from her recent trips to Mexico, was confirmed to be infected with the influenza, Yonhap news agency quoted an official at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family Affairs as saying.
