About HomeAIDS:
HomeAIDS is an HIV and AIDS education and service centre based in Kunming, Yunnan Province. It was set up in 2002 as a cooperation project between the Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau Command and Yunnan Red Cross, and is now registered as an independent organisation. HomeAIDS aims to increase the level of HIV/AIDS knowledge amongst the groups that it works with. HomeAIDS trains volunteer student peer educators and facilitators in Kunming universities and provides personal face-to-face and telephone support to people seeking information about HIV and AIDS. The organisation also works closely with numerous communities in Kunming through outreach activities and home support for people living with HIV and their families.
