| North Korean Delegation Arrives in Beijing |

The delegation from North Korea arrived in Beijing Tuesday morning for the second phase of the fourth-round six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.
The North Korean delegation is headed by Kim Kye-gwan, North Korea's vice foreign minister.
Kim made no remarks on the nuclear talks upon arrival.
The chief negotiator said before departure in Pyongyang that North Korea will repeat its standpoints on peaceful nuclear activity, but will "take flexibility when necessary" in the second phase of the talks.
The first phase of the fourth round of the six-party talks started on July 26 and recessed on August 7.
North Korea announced on August 29 that it would postpone the second phase of the talks originally scheduled for the same day to mid-September because the US began the large-scale war exercises "Ulji Focus Lens-05" with South Korea and appointed a "presidential envoy for the human rights issue of North Korea."
