Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston have more than a certain
Hollywood hunk in common after bagging joint place for most
powerful actress.
Officials at the Guinness World Records came to the
decision after comparing the earning power of several celebrities
and the publicity surrounding them.
Jennifer's love life has been under the microscope since she
split from ex-hubby Brad Pitt, who then hooked up with
Angelina.
The couple, branded Brangelina, have not been out of the
headlines since, with their ever-growing adopted family and the
birth of their own daughter Shiloh last year.
There is also talk of a possible Oscar nomination for Angelina
for her critically acclaimed role as the wife of murdered
journalist Daniel Pearl in A Mighty Heart.
Tom Cruise knocked Johnny Depp off the top spot to regain his
crown as most powerful actor, with the help of his recent box
office success and the constant coverage of his marriage to Katie
Holmes and the birth of their daughter Suri.
Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson set a world record for the highest
grossing actor at the box office, starring in 75 films that have
raked in more than ￡3.95 billion globally.
