The number of foreign tourist arrivals in Shenzhen jumped 31.15 percent year on year to reach 212,600 in the first three months of this year, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported Sunday.
The newspaper said that the city's tourism industry raked in 1.99 billion yuan (US$240.34 million) in March alone, an increase of 59.15 percent compared with the same period last year.
