A 303-kilometer-long railway line between Shanghai and Nanjing now has an electronic monitoring system to protect trains against accidents, the Shanghai Railway Administration said yesterday.
The system will collect information on trains' movements, geographic situations and ongoing railway maintenance along the line, which is among the busiest in the country.
