Fou Ts'ong, a Shanghai-born pianist who has lived in London since the 1960s, will visit Beijing in December for a one-off solo concert.
Over his long career, Mr Fou has made name for himself as a masterful interpreter of the music of Mozart and Chopin.
In 1955, he became the first Chinese musician to win a prize at Warsaw's prestigious Chopin Piano Competition.
Earlier this year, Mr Fou told the South China Morning Post of his newfound interest in the music of Haydn. So it is unsurprising that this programme will include Haydn's Piano Sonata in C Minor, as well as works by Debussy, Schubert and Chopin.
