Arab Foreign Ministers End Overnight Meeting with Agreement
The Arab foreign ministers reached an agreement early Saturday after an overnight meeting, officials confirmed.

Arab League (AL) Secretary-General Amr Moussa told reporters right after the meeting that "everything has been accepted without misunderstanding."

He stressed that all Arab countries are opposed to a war on Iraq and that the agreement will be submitted to the Arab summit due to be open hours later for approval.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting, saying the draft resolution based on the agreement reached by foreign ministers will benefit all Arab countries after the summit adopts it.

An Egyptian presidential source said Mubarak will try his best to help forge a unified Arab stance at the summit. One of the messages is that all Arab countries oppose a war on Iraq; another is that Iraq must cooperate fully with UN weapons inspectors to leave no excuse for war, the source added.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri told reporters that he holds confidence that the Arab Leaders will have an agreement.
